This Week @ Living WordChurch Picnic!! Our worship service moves this week, September 5, 2010, to the shelter house at McNamara Park just north of the Genoa Township Fire and Police station at Big Walnut and 3C Highway intersection. Worship at 10:30 am will be followed by a potluck picnic with meat, buns, drinks and table service provided. If you are visiting with us, please come and don't be concerned with bringing food, there's always plenty! Our Sunday School schedule begins for adults and interested youth at 9:00 a.m. followed by fellowship/refreshments beginning at 10:00 a.m. Worship Services begin at 10:30 a.m. Our Sunday School program for children is in recess until September. Praise Services are every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. We practice an open Holy Communion which is offered at both Traditional and Praise Services. This Sunday's Bible readings will be Deuteronomy 30:15-20, Psalm 1, Philemon 1-21, and Luke 14:25-33. Pastor Jim Stalder's message is titled "The Storms of Life". Children's offering of non-perishable food is given each Sunday and benefits Big Walnut Friends Who Share and an "adopted" family who is a client of Big Walnut Friends.
