High School Bible Study group meets on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM in the church Youth Room.

The High School Youth led our worship service on 04/25/10. The title of the skit they performed was: "We Made It, Right?" The idea for the skit began as a dream of Elizabeth Foushee's. We then added to it to develop the skit. The High School Youth were also our Praise Band Team. What an outstanding job! A huge thanks to Mary McGinnis for all the practices and time spent working with the youth on their chosen songs. We would also like to thank John Maassel for all of his time attending our practices and helping organize everything from mic placement to prop set up. The High School Youth delivered a wonderful message. They are all so talented in many ways. The Middle School Youth girls were our greeters for this service day and the Middle School Youth boys were our ushers. A big thanks to them as we truly needed their help.
Wehave received many kind words following this service. We want to be sure to give all praise and glory to God for using us to deliver His message. I feel especially blessed to have been a part of this very special High School Youth service. We have three youths that will be graduating and/or moving on to their next chapter in life. They approached me asking if they could do one more youth service. Of course I was more than happy to help them. Wow, I feel we have been very blessed to have them as part of our congregation. The 5th and 6th grade Sunday School class plus a few from the Middle School Youth group visited Big Walnut Friends Who Share on Saturday,05/15/10. We met at Living Word then carpooled to Big Walnut Friends Who Share. What a great morning it was to see the kids get to share the "baby gifts" they collected during the Epiphany season to celebrate the birth of our savior. We wanted to share God's love for us with others. Our church information was given to identify the donations from. Some of us even wore our Living Word t-shirts. I would like to thank Ted & Bev McCray for helping us organize a time to deliver our "baby gifts" and for meeting us at Big Walnut Friends Who Share. They took time from their busy schedules to meet us, talk with the kids, show them around the facility, and explain a little about how things work there for families in need. We pray our churches donations will help new parents with some of the much needed items. Thank You to everyone for their support in our "Welcome Baby" project. Sharing His love, Jayna Mueller
